Gov. Phil Murphy announced on Monday no changes to school quarantine rules or to his school mask mandate as COVID-19 cases among students and school staff spiked over 6,000 in the week after the Thanksgiving holiday. But the governor remains unwilling at least, for now, to follow in New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's footsteps on mask-or-vaccine requirement for indoor activities.
