In the decade since the Great Recession, some small cities have struggled to recover in the post-recession economy. A cancer cluster at a top New York City high school has emerged, where at least a dozen former students and staff assert they have contracted deadly diseases as a result of exposure to toxins released after the deadly 9/11 terror attack. The Great American Read is back.
