Travel and tourism is a 40 billion dollar industry in New Jersey. It used to be the State’s second largest. Even though that’s changed in recent years, coastal communities are coming back after Hurricane Sandy and officials say travel to the state’s historic sites is on the rise and hotel and restaurant spending is up. For this week’s Governors’ Perspectives, former Governors Jim Florio and Tom Kean talk to Kent Manahan about how much New Jersey has to offer, in terms of dollars, jobs and wonderful places to see.
