NJTV Hosts Community Forum Discussing The Challenges of Drug Addiction and Recovery For New Jersey Communities in Vineland on October 30th

October 16, 2018 — VINELAND, NJ — NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network, announced it will host a public community forum on the topic of drug addiction and recovery on Tuesday, October 30, 2018; 6:30pm – 8:30pm at Cumberland Community College – Luciano Conference Center in Vineland as part of its In Your Neighborhood initiative. NJTV’s forum, moderated by NJTV News Correspondent Briana Vannozzi and presented in collaboration with the Cumberland County Department of Human Services Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services and City of Vineland Health Department, includes a panel discussion about the complexities of addiction, impact of substance abuse on families, options for treatment and challenges for those in recovery.

The public is invited to join this candid conversation about what causes addiction; coping with trauma among families struggling with substance abuse, treatment options and recovery programs, the drug-court system, and how drugs could be hiding in plain sight at home and more.
