September 4, 2018 — Over the last nine weeks, NJTV has celebrated summer with a Tourism Tournament on Facebook, asking the public to weigh in on favorite places to visit across the Garden State. The Tournament brackets were broken down into four categories: Great Outdoors, Best Beach, Arts and History, and Family Friendly.
With 86 percent of the vote, the winner was revealed over Labor Day weekend: the Old Barracks in Trenton. The runner-up was Brigantine Beach. More than 19K votes were cast throughout the tournament.
NJTV News Correspondent Leah Mishkin reported on what makes the Old Barracks Museum a top tourist destination. Watch her segment here.
