NJTV News to Cover NJ Primaries on June 5th On-Air and Online

June 4, 2018 — NEWARK, NJ — This Tuesday is Primary Election Day in the Garden State and NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network, will provide comprehensive coverage on-air and online as Democratic and Republican candidates vie for their party’s nomination to the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives. The party winners of the primaries in June will face off in Midterm elections in November 2018.

NJTV will provide Tuesday’s NJ Primary results on-air and online, with additional digital-exclusive content and campaign HQ livestreaming throughout the night at at NJTVNews.org. The network’s weeknight news program, NJTV News with Mary Alice Williams, will actively be covering the New Jersey primary elections throughout Tuesday evening during its newscasts at 6pm, 7:30pm and 11pm. The 11pm program will be a special live edition wrapping up the day’s election results and other news. Additionally, NJTV will scroll on-air updates throughout its regularly-scheduled programming line-up that evening from 8-11pm.

NJTV News’ coverage will include reporting and insight from NJTV News Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron, Sr. Correspondents David Cruz and Brenda Flanagan, Correspondents Michael Hill, Leah Mishkin and Briana Vannozzi, as well as in-studio experts.
