An evening of music and celebration to benefit New Jersey public television;

Josh Weston and Shaquille O’Neal to be honored;

Bernard M. Flynn and Barry H. Ostrowsky serve as co-chairs

Updated April 25, 2016 – NEWARK – NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network, will host its third major benefit event at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Monday, April 25th at 6pm.

The benefit for NJTV, which marks five years of operation this July, is co-chaired by Bernard M. Flynn (President and CEO of New Jersey Manufacturers) and Barry H. Ostrowsky (President and CEO, RWJ Barnabas Health), and will honor two high-profile New Jersey philanthropists: Josh Weston (Chairman, NJTV’s Board of Trustees and honorary chairman and former CEO of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP)) and Shaquille O’Neal (NBA Superstar and PBS American Graduate Champion), for their contributions to public television and the state at large.

Please note: Due to a change in his NBA coverage obligations, Mr. O’Neal is unable to join us in person this evening.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but look forward to celebrating his accomplishments and generosity tonight.

An evening of mingling and music is planned, featuring performances by Giada Valenti, star of PBS’s “From Venice with Love” music special and the New Jersey City University Choir.

“Josh Weston and Shaquille O’Neal, like New Jersey public television, serve the state in so many ways,” said NJTV General Manager John Servidio.  “We’re delighted that their contributions include support of public television and are pleased to honor them as part of the NJTV family.”

NJTV Benefit sponsorships, advertisement opportunities and tickets are available by calling Amanda Parker at 908-322-1100 or email aparker@evergreenpr.com.
