NJTV Honored By Council on State Public Affairs

April 17, 2012 — Bernardsville, NJ — NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network, was honored today at an awards ceremony in Bernardsville, NJ hosted by The Council on State Public Affairs.  The independent, bipartisan policy organization, which works to promote public affairs discussion in the Garden State, honored the network and policymakers at its first award ceremony, themed “Shaping the Future”. 

NJTV was recognized for its leadership role in broadcasting information and presenting informed public opinion on topical New Jersey issues throughout the state.  The award was presented to NJTV General Manager John Servidio by Patrick Breslin, Director of Corporate Communications for New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Group, whose company was the first funder of NJTV’s news program, NJ Today.

Former New Jersey Governor James Florio, Senator Robert Gordon (D-38) and Assemblyman Jon Bramnick (R-21) also received awards for their roles in state public affairs at the event, held at the Bernards Inn on April 17th.
