Wrap-Up of Election Day 2014 Results

NJTV News Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron discusses the election results with NJTV News Anchor Mary Alice Williams.

Among the discussed races were the U.S. Senate race between incumbent Democrat Cory Booker and Republican Jeff Bell, in which Booker was victorious.

In the Congressional races, three vacant seats were filled — in the First, Third and the 12th Congressional Districts. Democrat Donald Norcross defeated Republican Garry Cobb in the First District, Republican Tom MacArthur beat Democrat Aimee Belgard in the Third District and Democrat Bonnie Watson Coleman won over Republican Alieta Eck in the 12th District, becoming the first African-American woman to represent New Jersey in Congress.

In the fifth Congressional District, incumbent Republican Scott Garrett won reelection over Democrat Roy Cho.
