New Jersey school districts are strapped for cash, and begging the state for a surge in funding. In his budget address, Gov. Phil Murphy promised to invest hundreds of millions of dollars into struggling districts. On Thursday, he laid out his funding plan. In it, 371 districts to get increased funding, 194 will see cuts and 12 districts will stay flat.
