It’s the night of the first Democratic presidential debate in Miami, and Sen. Cory Booker will take the stage alongside nine other candidates. Senior Correspondent David Cruz is there and talks about what he expects for Booker and the other presidential hopefuls.
One of the main questions for this debate: will he have a breakout moment or will he be a peacemaker? As Cruz explains, Booker has gained some momentum in his campaign, but says it “behooves him” to distinguish himself from the pack.
All eyes are on this debate since it is the first one as we head into the 2020 elections.
