Thousands of New Jerseyans Attend Women’s March on Washington

Saturday people worldwide — of disparate histories, ethnicities and agendas — marched in defense of women’s rights and gender equity. And New Jersey residents joined sister marches at home or boarded scores of buses headed for Washington. NJTV News Correspondents Erin Delmore and Briana Vannozzi were on board to report on an historic march that may have sparked a movement.

The pair spoke with many of the women and men who participated in the Women’s March on Washington Saturday and chronicled the day’s events.

Delmore and Vannozzi were on the mall Saturday near where Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron had been standing less than 24 hours earlier at the inauguration. All three talked about their experiences in the nation’s capital.
