State freezes payments for homestead rebate program

The state of New Jersey is freezing payment on homestead rebates and more than two dozen other programs due to financial uncertainty for the state’s budget due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The New Jersey Banker’s Association is reminding residents that their bank deposits are safe and insured, after reports of people withdrawing large amounts of cash.

Instacart will hire 12,000 workers in New Jersey to meet growing demand for delivery services.
