Select Committee on NJ Transit to hold first public hearing in Hoboken

Lawmakers are likely to get an earful Wednesday evening from frustrated commuters. At the Hoboken train station, the first public hearing will be taking place before the special Select Committee on NJ Transit. Created by Senate President Steve Sweeney, the bipartisan group aims to explore why NJ Transit is having operational and service problems, and to look for ways to turn it around.
