On Tuesday, health advocates and students joined Rep. Frank Pallone at J.P. Stevens High School to introduce the Reversing the Youth Tobacco Epidemic Act of 2019.

Pallone says the new legislation will help tackle youth nicotine addiction. It would raise the minimum age for purchasing tobacco and e-cigarette products to 21 years and would make it unlawful for companies to market their tobacco and e-cigarette products to individuals under 21.
