Millions of frozen state funds released

The Murphy administration is releasing millions in additional funding for community programs around the state. The Treasury Department gave the green light to releasing the remaining $121 million that the administration put into reserve, in case the state experienced a revenue shortfall. But revenue collections are up so far this fiscal year.

A task force appointed by the governor to investigate the EDA released a report Thursday that is critical of the agency’s process in awarding tax incentives.
