Environmentalists argue to intervene and become party to the ExxonMobil pollution settlement case. But the oil giant and the state team up to say, “We’ve heard you, now butt out.”

Some schools do. They have cops near classrooms and the halls. A state task force recommends each school has a police presence to improve safety.

And they don’t talk but horses do communicate and offer feedback, the kind that can train and improve medical professionals’ bedside manner.
