Changing ‘toxic culture’ in NJ starts at the top

BY Joanna Gagis, Producer/Correspondent |

NJ Advance Media originally broke the story about the “toxic culture” for women in politics. A state assembly staffer in their report has now been put on paid leave while he’s being investigated for rape. The allegation was made by a female lobbyist.

The New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault is now partnering with lawmakers and one of the state’s top business organizations to help reform the current culture. Patricia Teffenhart, the organization’s executive director, explained it to Correspondent Joanna Gagis.
