Analysts Upbeat About Holiday Shopping Sales

Analysts predict a 3.8 percent increase in sales this holiday season compared to last year, after solid sales reports in October and November coupled with strong Black Friday and Small Business Saturday showings.

President of the New Jersey Retail Merchants Association John Holub says that online sales and those in traditional stores have been strong this holiday season. NJToday’s Desiree Taylor files this report from Jersey Gardens in Elizabeth where she spoke to retail employees and shoppers.
