Activist Larry Hamm on challenging Cory Booker for Senate seat

One social justice advocate has been getting a lot of recognition for successfully hosting recent peaceful protests in Newark. Larry Hamm has been fighting in the city for more than four decades against police brutality, racial profiling and inequality. Now, he’s running against U.S. Sen. Cory Booker in the July 7 Democratic primary. It’s a race he calls the “David and Goliath scenario.”

So can a self-described radical win against an establishment candidate like Booker? Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron goes on the record with him.
