A few good men – disabled veterans and Purple Heart recipients  – were the first to receive new vehicle placards Thursday from the Motor Vehicle Commission.

The new placards are intended to acknowledge and provide specific vehicle parking privileges to veterans throughout the State.  They were instructed to hang them in their windshields for high visibility.

The event was hosted at the Asbury Park VFW.
