Architecture Legend Michael Graves Dead at 80

A legend of architecture and design has passed away. Michael Graves died in his sleep at the age of 80. Graves was a Princeton resident and member of the New Jersey Hall of Fame (as well as designer of its Mobile Museum).

His modernist creations earned him the National Medal of Arts and honors from the American Institute of Architects.

In a statement from his design firm, Graves is remembered as: “An extraordinary designer, teacher, mentor and friend.”
