Mayor Julián Castro of San Antonio delivered the keynote speech Tuesday night at the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
The high-definition broadcast of San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro’s entire convention keynote address is expected to take place in the 10 p.m. hour (subject to change). For those that miss it, the network will rebroadcast the speech tonight at 11 p.m. and Wednesday, September 5 at 2 a.m. (check local listings).
NJTV’s weeknight news program, NJ Today, anchored by Managing Editor Mike Schneider, will feature special reports throughout the duration of the Democratic National Convention (September 4-6), which includes Newark Mayor Cory Booker as a speaker. Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron and Correspondent David Cruz are at the covering the New Jersey delegation and behind-the-scenes convention activities.
Last week, NJTV aired a live broadcast of Gov. Chris Christie’s Keynote speech before the Republican National Convention. The NJ Decides 2012: The Christie Keynote speech special and its encores proved to be NJTV’s most-viewed live prime time news broadcast to date.
