Learn about ‘shooting stars’ at the Newark Museum

Join us for a brand new children’s planetarium show! Shooting stars and meteorites are awe-inspiring and mysterious. A polar bear, a penguin and a hummingbird named Lucia launch on a comic journey to study the Moon, asteroids and a comet to find out their origins and learn about the history of our Solar System! “Lucia and the Secret of the Shooting Stars” runs Saturdays & Sundays at 1 & 3 p.m. Recommended for children ages 5 to 9 (35 minutes) PLANETARIUM ADMISSION: Adults $6.00; children under 12, seniors, and college students $4.00 Members: Adults $4.00, children & seniors $3.00 Planetarium tickets must be purchased in addition to General Museum Admission at the front desk upon entering the Museum.
