Growing Fruit in the Home Garden-Gloucester Co Garden School

Gloucester Co. Certified Gardeners Home Garden School Class-This class covers both tree and small fruit, and includes an overview of different types of tree fruits and variety selections for the home gardener. Insect pests and diseases of tree and small fruits, and common management strategies will be discussed. Taught by Jerome Frecon, professor emeritus, Rutgers University, and Horticulture Consultant. NJ Pesticide Recertification Credits are available for this class. Garden school classes are held every Wednesday morning, January through May, at the Offices of Government Services Complex in Clayton. Classes are $15 each, and if you register for 5 or more, they are $15 each. Pre-registration is requested but not required and walk-ins are welcome.
