NJTV Provides Full-Day Coverage of Cory Booker Presidential Bid Announcement

New Jersey’s U.S. Senator Cory Booker announced this morning that he is running for President in 2020.  NJTV was all over the announcement with news coverage and updates throughout the day.  Coverage started at 7am with a breaking news post at NJTVNews.org and push notification went out to our app subscribers (If you didn’t get one, download the NJTV News app now!)

NJTV aired a live special report at 2pm covering Booker’s press conference from his home in the central ward of Newark.  Coverage, provided by NJTV News, had Sr. Correspondent David Cruz on-location with Anchors Mary Alice Williams and Michael Hill and Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron in-studio joined by pundits Leroy Jones and Alan Steinberg. The announcement was live-streamed on Facebook, Twitter and moderated on NJTV’s YouTube Channel by NJTV News Correspondent Briana Vannozzi Taylor Jung photographed and live tweeted the event on location.
