Healthy NJ: New Jersey’s Drug Addiction Treatment and Recovery Forum
Finding a path to healing and recovery from a drug addiction; Successful treatment for addiction; Treatment and resources in the community
Our fourth forum will address New Jersey’s ongoing drug use and overdose epidemic by focusing on successful treatment options and recovery models.
WHAT: NJTV’s Healthy NJ: New Jersey’s Drug Addiction Crisis Community Forum featuring panel discussion with public Q&A; informational tables from prevention and education facilities, treatment providers and other experts in the field of drug addiction. The panel discussion, moderated by NJTV News correspondent Michael Hill, will include health professionals, law enforcement officials and experts who will discuss the complexities and options for treatment and recovery of individuals from all walks of life affected by the state’s heroin, opioid and prescription drug abuse epidemic.
NJTV welcomes the general public to be a part of the forum in person or watch the discussion online.
WHEN: Wednesday, October 5th; 6:00-8:30pm (doors will open at 6:00 pm). Free admission; Pre-registration required to reserve a seat.

Michael Hill
Michael Hill, an award-winning news anchor and reporter, is a correspondent for NJTV’s weeknight news program NJTV News with Mary Alice Williams.
