    Paradise by the Basement Light
Paradise by the Basement Light celebrates the rock sound of the Garden State, the collective past, present and future and the blood, sweat and tears of the personal musical experience, from the basement to the big stage as well. Producer Steve Rogers explores the power and presence of rock by talking to those who play the genre and those who appreciate it. At the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, Rogers interviewed local Jersey Shore rock legend Bobby Bandiera about his life in music, which includes playing with Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi and an endless list of who's who in music. Rogers concluded his rock fueled journey in New Brunswick, taking in an underground basement show at Paradise Lost. "Pop up, DIY rock shows like the one we filmed," Rogers explained, "are as close as you come to rock in its raw form, which is how it was meant to be played from the beginning."
