February 2 & 5, 2015

Pulitzer prize-winning author Junot Díaz describes his fascination with New Jersey; he grew up in Parlin and went to Rutgers. The legendary jazz guitarists, Bucky and his son, John Pizzarelli, play a rare date together at Madison’s Shanghai Jazz, rated one of the top 100 jazz clubs in the world. Plus, State of the Arts NJ makes two studio visits: first with the “father of contemporary glass paperweights,” Paul Stankard, and then his daughter, Katherine Stankard Campbell, who paints on glass.
