Veterans write poems, and create art using paper made from their old uniforms. State of the Arts NJ visits Combat Paper workshops and hears from Warrior Writers at the Dodge Poetry Festival. One of the world’s greatest violinists, Sarah Chang joined the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra for its January Winter Festival. Chang, who grew up in Voorhees Township, meets with Newark and Paterson music students. Plus, visits to the Montclair Art Museum for the first major American exhibit of art from the 1990s, and to the Jersey City studio of Nimbus Dance Works.
