Woody Guthrie at Greystone Park State Hospital

Woody Guthrie spent 5 years at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital in Morris Plains, NJ. Phil Buehler has photographed the now abandoned hospital, and researched documents related to Guthrie's stay. His new book, "Woody Guthrie’s Wardy Forty: Greystone Park State Hospital Revisited," sheds light on this little known chapter in the legendary folksinger’s life.
