Due Process Receives Award at ceremony held Sunday, March 30th in New York
March 31, 2014 – New York, NY – Due Process, a popular public affairs series on NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network, won two awards at the 57th Annual New York Emmy® Awards Gala held on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square.
Due Process won in the category of Public/Current/Community Affairs Programming for their episode entitled Good Samaritan and in the category of Crime Programming for their episode $$ = Freedom: The Broken Bail System
Due Process is a production of Rutgers School of Law–Newark and the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. It is a critically-acclaimed weekly series dedicated to law and justice issues, co-hosted by Sandra King and Raymond Brown, who explore cutting edge topics of law and social justice. These two latest wins bring their total of NY and Mid-Atlantic Emmy awards to 24!
Due Process airs Sundays at 9:30am & 7pm and Tuesdays at 11:30pm on NJTV.
