 THE STATE OF NJ’S HEALTH: GROWING HEALTHY KIDS

Encore broadcast: Sunday, 3/16 at 6pm on NJTV
Interactive screening: Monday, 3/17 at 8pm 

On the heels of the television premiere of The State of NJ’s Health: Growing Healthy Kids, a town hall program hosted by NJTV’s Mike Schneider examining the causes of the current childhood obesity crisis and the many organizations that have mobilized to tackle the problem,  NJTV will host a special social TV platform screening of the program online on Monday, aimed at keeping the dialogue going about childhood obesity.

The OVEE online event on March 17th at 8pm will include a live-chat feed with video all in one screen, so those who log on can watch and interact in real-time with a panelist from the program.

The online audience will be able to make comments and ask questions of Dr. Nwando Anyaoku, director of general pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Dwayne Proctor, Team Director and Senior Program Officer, Childhood Obesity at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

New Glass at Wheaton: Deep in the South Jersey Pinelands, glassblowers have worked at the historic Wheaton glass factory for over a hundred years.  But today, artists at Wheaton are creating contemporary art using glass in unexpected and often marvelous ways.

The CINE Award-winning program New Glass at Wheaton explores the world of the Creative Glass Center of America at Wheaton Arts, where fellowship artists live and work together as they pursue their creative visions.
