NJTV RESPONDS TO INQUIRIES ABOUT HOBOKEN MAYOR DAWN ZIMMER’S COMMENTS CONCERNING A CONVERSATION PRIOR TO THE TAPING OF SUPERSTORM SANDY: A LIVE TOWN HALL

January 28, 2014 – MONTCLAIR, NJ — In response to inquiries concerning public references Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer has recently made about a conversation she had with Richard Constable, Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, prior to the taping of NJTV’s Superstorm Sandy: A Live Town Hall on May 16, 2013 at Monmouth University, NJTV has issued the following statement:

“We have checked the tapes that were recording NJTV’s Superstorm Sandy: A Live Town Hall broadcast on May 16th.  There is no recording of any conversation prior to or after the live broadcast itself.  Everything we have in our production tape archive from the Superstorm Sandy: A Live Town Hall special can be seen and heard on the broadcast itself, archived online here: http://www.njtvonline.org/programs/superstorm-sandy-a-live-town-hall/.”
