January 9, 2014 – Trenton- 1pm UPDATE – In the wake of the Fort Lee George Washington Bridge lane closure controversy, NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network, will broadcast Governor Chris Christie’s press conference live today on-air and online. Proceedings anticipated to begin at 11am; coverage duration TBD.
After the press conference, NJTV is also planning to provide coverage of today’s Assembly Transportation Committee Hearing in Trenton live on air and online anticipated to start at noon; the extent of that coverage will be dictated by the length of the Governor’s press conference. Start time of the hearing, originally slated for noon, is closer to 1pm.
NJTV will be providing the pool feed for “Special Coverage Live- New Jersey Assembly Transportation Hearing” to Encompass on WNET Loop 4478.
Livestream coverage of the hearing will be carried via the same links as the Governor’s press conference.
NJTV News with Mike Schneider will further report on the proceedings during their regularly-scheduled evening news program, which airs weeknights at 6, 7:30 and 11pm (check local listings).
Tonight, THIRTEEN will also air a half-hour special, NJTV Special Report: GWB Controversy, with highlights of today’s live coverage tonight at 10:30pm.
