ON THE RECORD WITH MICHAEL ARON
Saturday, 9/14 at 2pm; Sunday, 9/15 at 10am
Newark Mayor and Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Cory Booker sat down with veteran journalist Michael Aron on Friday for a one-on-one interview for NJTV’s On The Record with Michael Aron public affairs series.
The interview, just under a half-hour in duration, was taped at NJTV’s Trenton Statehouse studio today, and airs tomorrow, Saturday, September 14th at 2pm and encores tomorrow, Sunday, September 15th at 10am on New Jersey’s public television network.
Topics of discussion included how the mayor’s relationship with Governor Christie would come into play if he’s elected Senator. He addresses a National Review Online story alleging he made-up a character he has identified as T-Bone, who he has mentioned in a number of past speeches. And he says the notion that he is an internet millionaire from his relationship with WayWire is way off-base.
The Booker interview will also be posted on the NJTV website next week.
Aron interviewed Republican candidate Steve Lonegan on August 16th.
Also on this week’s program, Governors’ Perspectives with Kent Manahan features conversation with former Governors Florio and Whitman.
Also airing on NJTV this weekend…
