NJ Today: January 30, 2013

Sen. Bob Menendez under fire. And the FBI raids one of his longtime political supporters. Plus, the president signs the Sandy bill. We’ll see where that money could be going. We’ll talk to one of the governor’s closest advisors and two New Jersey congressmen.

  1. It simply doesn’t matter what political view one has today. No one can accept a sitting Senator representing New Jersey to be soliciting prostitutes. It is an outrage. To realize Sen. Menendez was exploiting teenage girls in a foreign country is outrageous. It is not only repulsive, irresponsible, negligent, but dangerous for all.

One would think we would hold Our elected Officials to some minor standard, at least a little higher than this garbage. Senator Menendez has been exposed terribly as a disgusting self serving buffoon. How could a US Senator not be aware of the destructive nature of prostitution? How could a Senator from NJ be foolish enough to encourage the terrible abuse of adolescents in this World? How could he be so mindless, even to be enabling the tragic existence of human trafficking at this time?

NJToday has a responsibility to the NJ community. So do all living in NJ. Everyone must simply say “no” to Senator Menendez’s vivid folly. He is not fit to serve in the Office he has been awarded. It is time for him to go. If we do not lead to remove such a waste, we all will sink to a lower level.

    Thank you.
