Congressman Frank Pallone (D) discussed the latest allegations in the George Washington Bridge investigations with NJTV News Managing Editor Mike Schneider and Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron.
Pallone said that the allegations within David Wildstein’s lawyer’s letter suggest that Gov. Chris Christie was not telling the truth about how much he knew about the lane closures. As the investigations continue into the lane closures, Pallone said that both the special committee and the U.S. attorney’s investigations have to get to the bottom of the why the lane closures occurred.
As for the Sandy fund allegations, Pallone said that he has asked HUD to investigate HGI, the company who was hired to dole out money for Hurricane Sandy relief.
