Less than a week before the New Jersey primary, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton held a campaign rally at Rutgers-Newark with support from Sen. Cory Booker, Congressman Donald Payne and state Sen. Teresa Ruiz.
Election Law Enforcement Commission Executive Director Jeff Brindle expects special interest groups to spend $80 million to $100 million to push their opinions on three ballot questions ahead of the November election.
While unaffiliated voters in New Jersey can vote in either primary, those already declared Democrat or Republican only have until April 13 to change their affiliation to be eligible for the June 7 primary.
