Gov. Christie announced the end of the reciprocal income tax agreement with Pennsylvania that let residents of both states pay income tax just where they work. The former state treasurer estimates the deal could generate $180 million for New Jersey.
Businesses at the Jersey Shore haven't had the traffic of a typical Labor Day weekend because of Hermine, which caused Gov. Christie to declare a state of emergency for Atlantic, Cape May and Ocean counties.
