The fight over the Loew's Theatre continues. A Superior Court judge ruled in favor of the Friends of the Loew's appeal, which came after an initial decision siding with Jersey City over operations of the facility.
Hard Rock International unveiled plans for a casino complex built around the Meadowlands Racetrack. Some New Jersey lawmakers hope to put a question on the ballot in November to permit gaming outside of Atlantic City to make the plans reality.
Moving the mural that used to be at Alexander's Department Store in Paramus has proved controversial with the mayor of Carlstadt holding back a portion of the artwork. The Bergen Museum wanted to transport it in its entirety to Paterson.
