New Jersey’s utility companies and NJ Transit are closely tracking the winter storm that is expected to bring heavy rains and wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour to the region. Here are some resources to stay current with the latest news and updates on power outages and service disruptions
Atlantic City Electric

Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L)
In anticipation of the severe weather, JCP&L states that it has activated its storm response plan. For updated information on the company’s current outages, FirstEnergy’s storm restoration process and tips for staying safe, visit the 24/7 Power Center at www.firstenergycorp.com/outages. Orange & Rockland
To report a power outage, call 877-434-4100 or use the online Outage Report Form, accessible from any Web-enabled PC, laptop or mobile device with Internet connection.
For the most current outage information updates, follow @PSEGdelivers on Twitter. To report a power outage, call 800-436-PSEG (7734). The Outage Center shows outages in PSE&G’s service territory using a graphic interface.
To give customers additional travel options during expected inclement weather conditions, NJ TRANSIT will offer full systemwide cross-honoring starting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, and continuing until the end of the service day Thursday, March 7, enabling NJ TRANSIT customers to use their ticket or pass on an alternate travel mode — rail, bus or light rail, as well as private carrier buses. For example, customers who normally take the bus from Rutherford to the Port Authority Bus Terminal may use their bus pass on the train from Rutherford to New York Penn Station. Similarly, customers who normally take the bus between Atlantic City and Lindenwold may use the train instead.
