OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A winter storm moving across Oklahoma has forced the cancellation of a trip to the state by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
Christie was due in Oklahoma City Wednesday to join a birthday celebration for Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin. Fallin’s re-election campaign says the birthday party will be held as scheduled in Oklahoma City and that Christie plans to reschedule his trip to Oklahoma.
Proceeds from Fallin’s birthday party go to her 2014 re-election campaign.
