Gas price holds steady in NJ, drop predicted

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in New Jersey remains unchanged from a week ago at $3.27.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says that’s still lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.45 a gallon.

The national average Friday was one cent lower than New Jersey’s.

After a recent uptick, AAA expects prices to head back down as supplies build and drop 10 to 15 cents by year’s end.
