Eviction delayed at ‘Real Housewives’ stars’ home

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) — “Real Housewives of New Jersey” co-stars Melissa and Joe Gorga can’t evict a tenant from their mansion just yet because it isn’t a registered rental property.

Superior Court Judge Stephen Taylor said Friday he would hear the case again on Sept. 2 if the Gorgas can properly register their Montville mansion as a rental property.

The Daily Record of Parsippany (http://dailyre.co/1sK4gnr ) reports that the couple has been trying to evict Kai Patterson and his company since June 10 for allegedly not paying his $20,000-a-month lease-purchase agreement.

Patterson’s lawyer unsuccessfully attempted to get the case dismissed.

The Gorgas also claim they want to move back into the house to register their three children for school.
