Road rut caused delays in, out of New York City

WEEHAWKEN, N.J. (AP) — Traffic is moving again on the road leading to the Lincoln Tunnel.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police spokesman Joe Pentangelo says workers have repaired a depression on the helix.

New Jersey Transit spokesman John Durso Jr. says buses faced delays of up to 45 minutes into and out of the Port Authority bus terminal in New York City.

Durso says buses were diverted to Newark’s Penn Station and the Secaucus rail terminal.
