TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Motorists are seeing slightly lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in the state on Friday was $3.32, down 2 cents from last week. That’s also nearly the same price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.36.
The national average price was $3.31, down 2 cents from last week. That’s also the same price motorists were paying a year ago.
Analysts say the lower prices are due to declining crude oil prices and falling demand due to severe winter weather.
