Formed in February of 1946, one of New Jersey’s oldest Community Theatre Groups, Cumberland Players, will bring its major musical production for this season to the Levoy Theatre!
Cumberland Players will perform Les Miserables on September 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 & 15 at the Levoy Theatre rather than at its regular venue, The Little Theatre, at Sherman and the Boulevard in Vineland.
This is the first and only year rights have been offered to local theatre groups to perform Les Miserables as it will be returning to Broadway next year!
Director of Theatre Operations, Vincent Bianca, says “the Levoy is excited Cumberland Players are taking the extremely rare step to leave their home venue and perform in our beautiful facility in the heart of Millville. This continues our pledge to bring first class, affordable entertainment to a wide audience.”
According to the President of Cumberland Players, Michael Blandino, “moving our production to a larger theatre with all its amenities allows us to bring Les Miserables to a larger audience. We are very pleased to join with the Levoy and hope to work with them again in the future.”
