Boxed In is a benefit Art Show featuring works from incredible artists that will be held in Wayne, NJ on September 29th.
All submissions will be sold at the show to benefit Sam’s Voice, an organization started by a NJ family whose youngest son, Sam, is significantly impacted by autism. In April of 2012, Hagrid, an autism service dog, came into their lives and changed them forever. Hagrid has been an absolute miracle for the family, and they started “Sam’s Voice” to raise funds for Heeling Autism & help other families bring service dogs into their lives.
Boxed In will donate 100% of proceeds above the costs of the show to Sam’s Voice. So far (as of 7/29/2013) 200+ submissions have come in from 24 states and 7 countries outside of the US; including an artist whose work was in the 2012 Golden Globe Gift Bags (Sylvia Hart), an artist who has worked on projects for VH1s Save the Music and for Lady GaGa (Leigh Viner), the artist who founded and runs Zanity clothing (Wilson Kowaleski), and more! – so it’s already shaping up to be a great show and all works submitted will be sold for $5 to $50 (pricing based on size and whether the piece is an original or a print).
