My name is Amanda Rossi, and I am currently a nutrition intern from Montclair State University working under the direction of Alma Schneider, founder of Take Back the Kitchen. We would be honored if you would consider advertising our event on your website. Our event will be taking place on May 5th.

We will be hosting a “healthy” milk and cookies baking contest for kids. All proceeds raised will be distributed directly to Toni’s Soup Kitchen. Toni’s Soup Kitchen is located in Montclair, NJ at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. They strive to serve hot and delicious meals to everyone, but most importantly the local homeless community every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Our event has three distinct categories: vegan, gluten free, and whole wheat flour. We believe that this event will help to promote healthier baking techniques for people of all ages and also promote awareness of three popular dietary trends. This will be a great family event and will also have a live magician and musician.

We have been lucky enough to have Five Acre Farms and King Arthur Flour to be sponsors for this event.

We sincerely hope you consider helping us by posting our event on your website. Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. I will be attaching the information for the event.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions and concerns. I can be reached directly through email or by phone. My email is rossia4@mail.montclair.edu, and my cell phone number is 609-805-1889.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Amanda Rossi
